Cyril Ramaphosa visits Maponya Mall
In a groundbreaking move to mark the conclusion of Women's Month, a transformative initiative is set to take place under the leadership of President Ramaphosa at Maponya Mall. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity and addressing gender-related issues comprehensively, the Presidential team is proud to announce an event focused on the male child – "What about the boys."
Event Highlights:
150 young male students will gather for a special screening of the locally produced movie "What about the boys". This cinematic creation aims to shed light on the challenges faced by young boys and address pressing social issues, notably Gender-Based Violence (GBV). By shifting the spotlight to the male child, the initiative seeks to spark crucial conversations and promote a holistic understanding of gender dynamics.
In attendance, President Cyril Ramaphosa, Gauteng Premier Mr Panyaza Lesufi, Junior Mayor of Johannesburg Mr Arabile Maphiri, Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga and MED Education Minister, Mr Matome Chiloane
